Our History
Founded in 1833 by Frederic Ozanam, a French college student, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul serves local individuals in need on a person-to-person level. The St. Vincent de Paul Council of Marinette was founded in 1961 and has grown to have conferences in two states and multiple counties with conferences in Menominee, Marinette, Crivitz, Wausaukee, Amberg, Niagara and Oconto.
